Grassy hops and light, sweet and sour caramel malts. Acidic and resinous as it goes down the throat.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is very skunky, malty and cardboard. Flavor is moderately sweet, loads of carbonation and fizzy stuff going on here. Really not very impressed here, but I didn’t expect much either.

Haben wir hier beim lokalen Inder geholt. Nettes Lager ohne große Ambitionen. Leicht mit Reis im Hintergrund und etwas Mais. Dumpf, jedoch trinkbar. Keine große Nummer.

Bottle from an international shop in Herne. Pours out in a clear golden colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and grains. Taste of mild hops, bread, grains, flowers and straw. Thin and grainy finish. Average Pale Lager.

Butelka 625ml. Piwo jest przejrzyste o kolorze jasnego zlota. Piana jest malutka i biala. Dobry lacing. Ogolnie nie ma co o tym piwie powiedziec. Lekko estrowe o cytrusowej goryczce, ktora jest bardzo delikatna.

600 ml bottle in Accra, Ghana. Pours a deep golden amber with a full lasting off white head. Aroma is a crisp sour malt with some spices and light fruit. Taste is slightly better than most of the Ghana lagers. It stll has the same baddly stored effects however. Taste cardboard and light fruit. Palate is pretty smooth and not offensive.

Bottle at Ghana Cafe in DC. This one is a step above most developing world lagers, with clean, crisp lines and no off flavors. Not bad.

mansquito (3980) - Nueva York, New York, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Ghana Cafe, DC 625ml ($10): Pours a super pale color with a diminishing white head. Aroma is mostly just grainy with a hint of sugar. Easy to drink. Taste has mostly the grains. Not too much sweetness. I don’t know if there are any hops, maybe one or two. Not offensive in the least bit. Better than Tusker...

Blond color. Paper and corn aroma. Weak beer, without bitterness. Bad.

Dogbrick (9160) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 12, 2011
Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin and fizzy white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and fruit. Light body with a doughy malt character and notes of mild hops and a touch of citrus. The finish is short and grainy. Forgettable, typical Pale Lager.
