Grassy hops and light, sweet and sour caramel malts. Acidic and resinous as it goes down the throat.

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Piwo jest przejrzyste o kolorze jasnego zlota. Piana jest malutka i biala. Dobry lacing. Ogolnie nie ma co o tym piwie powiedziec. Lekko estrowe o cytrusowej goryczce, ktora jest bardzo delikatna.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
600 ml bottle in Accra, Ghana. Pours a deep golden amber with a full lasting off white head. Aroma is a crisp sour malt with some spices and light fruit. Taste is slightly better than most of the Ghana lagers. It stll has the same baddly stored effects however. Taste cardboard and light fruit. Palate is pretty smooth and not offensive.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at Ghana Cafe in DC. This one is a step above most developing world lagers, with clean, crisp lines and no off flavors. Not bad.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Ghana Cafe, DC 625ml ($10): Pours a super pale color with a diminishing white head. Aroma is mostly just grainy with a hint of sugar. Easy to drink. Taste has mostly the grains. Not too much sweetness. I donít know if there are any hops, maybe one or two. Not offensive in the least bit. Better than Tusker...

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin and fizzy white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and fruit. Light body with a doughy malt character and notes of mild hops and a touch of citrus. The finish is short and grainy. Forgettable, typical Pale Lager.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
I love lagers and i love ones from far off places so lets rip it up! .. . pours a medium gold, great cream head, dies down to a respectable lager low, lacing is low but constant .. . smell of grain, hay, sour hay and giraffe .. . quite a tartness, not that refreshing- grainy and a bit messy- the travel time from Ghana to infront of me hasnít done it any favours .. . Am I the only one alive who was not in the conga line?!

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
(Old BA rate - bottle)
Light clear yellow color; white head that pours a nice finger of foam, but dissipates beyond quickly. Very slight grassy hop presence; light grainy sweet aroma; some maltiness in the aroma. Grainy; bland; slight hop presence that tries for balance; adjunct city...bleh. Some sweet-sour thing that is going on as well that doesnít sit well. Mediumish body; fine crispy carbonation. Not good; just messy and I can quaff a bland macro-esque lager in a pinch with little problem as long at itís clean.Definitely not the best option when in Ghana, go for Club or Star if in need.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
625 bottle, available all over Ghana.
Liked this one a lot more than Star or Club followed by Stone Lager.
pours golden straw, white head.
aroma and flavors, sweet malts, grainy, maize like mouthfeel, pale malts, nose of wort, light touch of tropical fruits and mild citrus bitterness; mango, orange.
Bittersweet finish, not bad but like every other beer in Ghana, itís nothing too impressive.
