COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle.
Brewed under licence since 1970.
Ingredients: Water, Malt, Hops.
**Nigerian beers by law are made with a portion of sorghum. A grant has been made to aid in the growing of sorghum which the brewer will buy as it lowers the proportion of malt in its product. This is the difference in formulation between Gulder Lager (Nigeria) and Gulder Lager (Ghana).**

Bottle. Clear golden with some impurities and a medium sized diminishing white head. Grain, eggs, grass, candle wax. Light/medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, light/medium sweet and bitter and a bit acidity. Unpleasant texture.

Thanks to erzengel for sharing! Pours a clear pale yellow with a nice white cap. The smell is grain and a bit of crisp hops. The taste is initially some light malt sweetness then grain followed by a crisp, dry ending. Light in body with average carbonation.

60 cl bottle, BB 29072014 3206566Q0454
Pale golden in the glass, grainy-sharp nose. The beer starts malty, smooth. A bit malty-earthy-dry in the mainpart (how does Sorghum-malt taste? Probably this taste is it?). The aftertaste is slightly bitter, crisp and dry. Some nice earthy components, a dry bitterness stais with hints of grain on the tongue.
Not a bad brew for a Pale Lager --> 10/12/9/9

Golden with a foamy white head. Good retention, thin lacing. Aroma of citrus, sweet malt and toastiness. Taste is slightly bitter with malt and citrus followefd by sweetness and a touch of roasted malt. Some hints of dustiness, firewood and vanilla. Fairly terrible.

Not that great to be fair, like a mix of a cheap lager and super tennants. I found this in my local beer shop on offer (£1 for a 600 ml glass bottle) and I gave it a try.

Pours a clear golden color which is topped with an average white foamy head. There is a gentle hoppy aroma. The taste is bitter and slightly acid with a hoppy aftertaste. It is drinkable, although there is this unpleasant metallic feel in the end, making it not so good really. Too bad.
