Aroma a bit skunky. Nice appearance, golden (dim light so a bit of a guess) clear, white nice head. Taste malty and light bitter. Light body and mouth feel. Average carbonation. Bottle. Not worth a repeat.

(From Notes:) On tap. Golden blond color. White head, good lace. Aroma’s of malt (sweet) and mild aromatic hops. Flavor is lightly sweet & lightly bitter. Finishes mildly bitter. Clean tasting & flavorful pilsner, one of the better ones from NL.

Kleur: Lichtgeel, met een mooie witte schuimkraag.
Geur: Fruit, mout, beetje muffig.
Smaak: Licht zurig, met een bittere nasmaak. Redelijk veel smaak voor een pilsener, maar niet lekker.

33 cl bottle. Gold-yellow colour, big stable white head. Aromas of malts and some fruitiness. Taste is very nice: bitternes and spicey. Very creamy texture.
Both presentation ( nice blue bottle) and taste make this beer one of the best pilseners.

Bottle:
Medium to bigger white head that disappears slow and leaves a white fluffy head on top of a clear golden colored beer.
Smell: skunked! (haven’t smelled that for a while!) Hints of dust, malt and herbs.
Taste is very malty with a bitter, dusty and light sweet touch. Where bitterness is most present next to the dominating maltyness.
Malty herby light hoppy bitter aftertaste.
Low to medium carbo, light tingly/spicy mouthfeel, low to medium body and a texture between watery and creamy.

Die Schaumkrone hält nicht so gut. Es riecht sehr hopfig-metallig, auf eine nicht so angenehme Art. Geschmacklich ist es hopfig-herb, kurz intensiv herb, dann schwächt es schnell wieder ab und wird mild, streckenweise etwas wässrig. Fazit: Nicht nach meinem geschmack.

A clear golden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of malts, fruits and bitterness. The taste is dry bitter, malty with fruits. The aftertaste is bitter for a while, with some sweet.

Bottle in Draft Bar, Iraklio (bizarrely). Nice presentation with the blue bottle coming in a little ice bucket! Quite full colour for a pilsener, aromas dry and hoppy. Tastes like a very well made solid version of German pilsener, with longish bitter finish.
