2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 pivnizub (8000) - Bochum, Porúří, - AUG 27, 2012Bottle, very blue: Clear and golden, visible carbonation, quite stable white foamy layer, perfumed malty-papery nose; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; dryish bitter-malty finish with metallic and papery traces. Not worse than many german Pilseners, so all in all pretty mediocre....
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bonkiedeaap (34) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 19, 2013
Bought a bottle at Bert’s Bierhuis. Aroma of blossom, grass, malt and some fruits. Has a yellow/gold color and a white head, well carbonated. Taste of blossom, fruits and barley. Taste is sweet and a little sour and has a long bitter afterdrunk, where you can taste the hop very well. An excellent pilsner from Holland, but not as good as Pilsner Urquell.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DJoer (291) - NETHERLANDS - APR 14, 2013
Clear golden colour, very allive, medium foamy head, malt hay smell, a bit sweet, a bit like standing at the brewery. Medium carbonation, pleasant medium bitter, a bit sweet malty, a bit sticky. A luxurious pils type

Tried this one for the first time after biking from Amsterdam to Hoorn in a snowstorm. I probably should’ve gotten something a bit darker and more alcoholic. This was ok in a pinch. Crisp, somewhat watery and dry.

Very full flavoured for a lager/pilsener. Good balance of sweet and bitter with a distinct fruity flavour and bitter finish.

Tap@Tefaf. One finger foam. Faint malty chili notes. Dry pilsner like. Nothing special. Drinkable.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 maekchu (1093) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 7, 2013
Bottle from Village Wine and Spirits in Athens. Big Saaz nose, some honey, and some metallic stuff, too. Clear pale sraw. Light malty sweet initial / Saaz emerges, but in a crude manner, a bit prickly / finish is balanced, with a lightly sweet aftertaste.. Thin-medium body. Not as clean as it should be. Hopping is there, for sure, but it’s rough and harsh. Pretty cobalt bottle, though.
