No fizz, no fuss. As if you poured whisky and not beer. A very relaxing attitude. Almost no head. You get pure beer. It has a very refined, round taste. Fits into one’s throat very smoothly. You get a slight bitter taste afterwards, a rather plesant one, like that of Efes Pilsener. This is a beer you would drink and enjoy like whisky and not beer. Not something you would drink more than 2 a day. Something to drink as novelty, or with its stylish blue bottle, to impress one’s girlfriend. Otherwise, it may not justify itsef at three times the price of Heineken.

33cl bottle, pre Tuska tasting. Blue bottle. Clear golden, thin white head. Malty, grainy, hay aroma. Papery, grainy flavor.

16/V/15 - 33cl bottle @ the Abeels (NL) - BB: I/2016 (2015-637) Thanks to the Abeels for sharing the bottle!

Clear blond beer, irregular white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of marijuana in the bottle upon opening. Then malty, grains, hay, grassy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very German, grains, cow fodder, wort, hay, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: bitter, wort, grains, grassy, some citrus, very bitter finish. Furthermore I find blue glassware absolutely repulsing. It’s like I’m drinking an energy drink or something. Ridiculous. Plus it costs me more! :p

5.5% ABV. Pale pilsner. No head. Clean mouthfeel. Quite an undistinguished beer experience. Nothing much to say about it; like trying to describe subclinical HPV colposcopically. You’re likely to run into this as a nice "filler" during some corporate event.

0,33l Flasche. Goldenes Bier mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Riecht angenehm malzig. Schmeckt malzig, leicht buttrig zum Schluss leider etwas metallisch.

Mooie fles, flink bitter met een schuimkraag die maar kort blijft staan. Lekker fris. Wat mij betreft geslaagd!

Clear golden color with small head. Aroma is malt, bit grassy. Flavor is malt, sweet. Sucks.

330ml blue bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clearish gold, light haze-- thin bubbly head. Aromas are really sweet and buttery. Taste is lots of butter too, grassy sweetness. Sweet finish. Pretty grim.

Bottle from Mam and Dad’s holiday, Belgium. This elegant blue bottled beer pours pale straw coloured with a thin tan head. It has a sweet malty, grassy and slight ‘plastic’ flavour followed by a slightly sugary sweet fruity finish.

First of all, the bottle is awesome! Nice blue color! The lager itself isnt that special, nice bitter tones but nothing surprising...
