3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
No fizz, no fuss. As if you poured whisky and not beer. A very relaxing attitude. Almost no head. You get pure beer. It has a very refined, round taste. Fits into one’s throat very smoothly. You get a slight bitter taste afterwards, a rather plesant one, like that of Efes Pilsener.
This is a beer you would drink and enjoy like whisky and not beer. Not something you would drink more than 2 a day.
Something to drink as novelty, or with its stylish blue bottle, to impress one’s girlfriend. Otherwise, it may not justify itsef at three times the price of Heineken.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle 330ml (AIH40)
Clear golden color, small white head. Papery, weak herbal hoppyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Sweetish malty, a bit harsh herbal "cheap" hoppyness. 1666 rip off? Quality-wise similar.

Bottled@AIH40 (from biernavigator). Golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is grains, some rubber, mild grass and hay. Flavour is grains, grass, herbs and some slight bready notes. Quite harsh in most ways possible.

Presented in a wonderful blue bottle and in my case presented with a peace of paper which stated it as one of the three best Pilsner’s around which I found rather exaggerating. It has indeed a very soft mouthfeel and taste but definitely lacks on the aroma.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2014 Pours clear yellowish with a frothy quickly disappearing white head. Grainy aroma, corn... Clear grass hops smell as well... Some slight sweetness in the nose... Nice for a pilsener, not astonishing tough. Taste is bitter with a sweet touch. Grainy, bit buttery, flowery as well... A dry and bitter finish, which is quite nice. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. A pretty okay pilsener in comparison to many others. Easy drinkable thirst quencher with a decent taste. Bit of a cocky attitude with the blue bottle, which is a -1 if you ask me.

C3 v25 Bottle, from brewer’s own stall at the Thame Food Festival. Over-the-top lovely packaging as always makes me wonder what they’re trying to hide. Pours a light gold with a swiftly vanishing head and a light fizz. The beer definitely has a higher hop rate than your average industrial lager- there is a decent level of grassy bitterness in there. It’s also got a decent crisp mouthfeel. Unfortunately they also seemed to have souped up all the off flavours you might get in a cheap lager. Plastic, soap, and chemicals come through with a hint of vomit (or was that my reaction to drinking it? ). The plastic got worse the more I drank. Perhaps they should have spent more on quality control rather than on fancy bottles- although I guess it is the packaging that sells this sort of product after all.

Helder geel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig met iets van noten. Erg goed bier, blijft lang hangen. Zit in bijzonder mooie blauwe fles.

Not a fan. Decent pilsner. A bit more hop bitterness than average. Carbonation is too low body is thin. they should have spent more time on the beer than on the bottle.

Bottle. Pours pale gold. Aroma is sweet pine, grass and malts. Well balanced flavour, very slight smokey dry flavour against the sweetness.

Golden yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. Has some very slight sweetness and wood-like tones that’s overpowered by the vast amount of hops. I like it personally for the low carbonation and high bitterness.
