3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 erickok (1086) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - FEB 4, 2012
A Dutch helles, nice. So it starts of well, with a full amber body look and fierce light tan head. Mild, pleasant aroa with earthy, noble hop profile, dades and brown sugar. Taste is more boring, sight malty and even a but syrupy. Accessible but not as refreshing as you’d like nor very full of flavour. Okay. (On tap at Jan Primus)

Thanks Capt. Cougar for one I've wanted for so long. I suppose this beer defines the boundary of Dortmunder and heller Bock. This is malty and extremely alcoholic: I really think the boozze robs some of the flavor. A little more malt flavor, however, and I think this would be my favorite beer---the perfect intersection of my favorite styles. Funny, I note a hint a that wierd grassy flavor (no, not the generic German hops grassy) that I found in Kraftbrau.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 estpiwo (986) - ESTONIA - MAR 28, 2010
Bottle. Golden hazy color, white head. Herbal aroma with malty tones. Flavor is spicy, little bit refreshing, bitter finish. Good.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ringo (963) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - SEP 17, 2003
I didn't know what the style of this beer was as I started drinking it, and thought it was closest to a bock. It has that rich, malty, gooey bock quality to it, along with lots of caramel. I used to like this style more and have rated previous examples higher. So this is sort of a style influenced rating. And I might come around to the style again. If you like this type of beer, I would certainly recommend this one.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 dortmunder (961) - Herdecke, GERMANY - NOV 28, 2003
Colden/copper colour. Intense malt and hops aroma. Taste is a good mix of hops and malt. Bready, especially in the aftertaste. Slight sweetness, a bit of caramel. I don´t think the higher ABV fits the Export style well.

This beer has a amber body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a little bit of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is bitter with light afther tast .
