Really cloudy blond color; creamy head. Wheat, spicy and banana aroma, a bit sweet. Dry in the front, smooth, typical Witbier and a banana touch, not bad.

Absolutley the best beer i’ve tasted in my life so far and thats a lot of diff beers from many countries, just stumbled across this site trying to track down where to get it again as the Uni bar I drank it at in Coventry, UK has insanely stopped doing it saying it wasnt popular (bloody young students all into their Stella and Carling etc i suppose and wont try anything new!!!). A wonderfully refreshing beer with a hint of spice and fruit flavours. Very very moorish.

Ungstrup (23984) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - APR 12, 2004
A hazy light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is wheaty sour with notes of coriander, oranges, and peach. The flavor is dry wheaty with notes of coriander and peach and the body is thin. A boring wit-bier.

Pale, cloudy, yellow coloured. Loads of banana and bubble gum in the aroma. The flavour is very thin and watery with notes of yeast.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2004 This is reasonable wit beer, but not amongst the very best. It goes without saying that the flavour is very lemony, but the initial hit soon disappears and everything becomes rather bland and watery, and soft on the back of the tongue. It is a nice warm, deep yellow hue though.

Nice golden color, with white creamy head (which didn't last long). Champagne-like finish.

(Draught at The Last Drop, York, England) Hazy yellow color with dense, white head. Good balance of compexity and flavor in this Belgian white.

Spiesy (2336) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - SEP 21, 2003
Draught, at the Dragon Bar, London. Hazy yellow body, initially with a white head which dissipated quickly. Soft weiss beer aroma and flavour. It’s not the most pure example of a weiss beer but that’s why I liked it. It was easy drinking and refreshing.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2006 Jan, 2003 Breakfast beer: fruit juice and cereal. This could also be what results when you squeeze a hamster. [2.5]
Oct, 2006 A gentle, fruity wheat beer. Attractive spice and band-aid. Lots of chewy cereal. Lots of sugar. Some artificial orange juice and saccarine. Less of the sharpness and acidy normally associated with wheat beers. Quite drinkable - though perhaps too much sweetness and too many artificial tasting flavours. [2.8]
