Bottled, best by 2008. Nice copper pour with a small light khaki head. Aroma is a mix of nuts and berry jam - a good deal of caramel malt sweetness, pop corn, a bit of butter. Taste is sweet and malty. Lots of caramel malts, hint of raisins, honey, a small sourish note and a hint of oxidation. Very much on the sweet side, but drinks OK considering the age.

Deep amber colored pour. Big off-white head with some lacing left behind. Very malty aroma with a hint of caramel. Taste is a malt bomb with some hops thrown in. Not too bad at all. Much better than expected. A bit bitter, and not as sweet as I would have expected, but still good.

Nice Lentebock with some grains and vanilla in the aroma. Bit sweetish in the back with vanilla again. Not too heavy, easy to go, just a nice Bock.

After having drunk several really strong beers from the Netherlands (they were awful), I had some issues in regard of this one. It pours out in a deep golden colour with low head and smooth body. Nose of hops and malt. Taste of strong alcohol, ripe hops, light barley, hay, cloves and whiskey. Hints of vanilla and flowers. Very nice to drink, quite a good one.

Bought a bottle at the supermarket. Aroma of herbs, liquorice with light roasted almonds and candied fruit. Has a amber color and a white head, well carbonated. Taste of spring flowers, light sweet malt and herbs. Has a long afterdrunk which is medium bitter. Overall, this is in my opion a good heller bock.
