2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Ungstrup (23984) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 3, 2004
An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty - one dimensional and boring. The falvor is sweet and sour, malty with notes of honey and a slight bitter end.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is paper, dry hay and slight earthyness. Flavour is maize, sweet malts and a lot of grass. Quite unbalanced brew in my opinion.

Keg on tap at Cafe A Ge Pannes, Schin op Geul, NL Limburg. Gold colour with white head. Thin and wheaty pilsner with a slight acidic backnote. Dry on the tongue but without lasting bitterness. Rather short on finish.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUL 19, 2005
(bottle) Clear golden colour with a medium frothy white head with nice lace. Nice grassy and herbal hop aroma with a tinge of citrus fruits. Light sweet flavour, medium body. Starts with grainy malts combined with a dense fruitiness and ends with a dry and slight bitter hoppy finish. In contrast to the aromatic nose of this brew the palate is rather unpleasant. All in all average but refreshing Pilsener.
