1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Draft again at this weird hippy squat place. Pours pale golden with a white head. Aroma of light malt and hops with a little metal but surprisingly no pot smoke. Flavour is not rancid, a little sweet and bitter and general pilsner boredom. Would drink regularly if I had no money and needed to slowly get drunk at any cost.

Sour and bitter flavours. Finish not special. Quite an ok pilsner, but forgettable though.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
White head on top of a clear yellow beer.
Typical pilsner smell of malts, spices and hops.
Taste is pretty fresh and slight above average for a pilsner.

07/08/2010 25cl bottle @ Hof van Twello
A pale yellow beer, fine white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Lots of carbon in the glass. Aroma: hop and almonds. MF: bit flat, but ok. Light body. Taste: somewhat bitter, watery. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, nothing special.

Pale in colour although a somewhat decent head. Short hoppy aroma with the taste not much longer nor interesting.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear yellow pilsner. Refreshingly bitter aroma and taste. Among the best of the Dutch pilsners. Bitter and grainy finish.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Brown 33cl bottle, the second Pilsner in a ’Pilsner/Lager reviewing evening’ 23 Oct 2010.
Poured into a ’Veltins’ tulip glass. Regular Lager/Pilsner looks, golden, clear, bright and clean. The head (snow white) soon fell away though.
Gets my standard score of three for an almost odourless lager/pilsner.
A little sweeter than the normal Euro lagers and has some body compared to the major producers and many German ones.
A pleasant Pilsner and if it was sunny outside I’d have a couple before I had a proper beer!
