75cl bottle shared September ’11 Thick white head. Clear ruby pour. Nice beer.

Corked bottle. 2010. Dark amber color. caramel and a hint of grassy hops in the aroma. Malty sweet, caramelly nutty flavor with some earthy hops lingering on in the aftertaste. Sticky. Less sugar and more character, please.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear amber with a dense and lacing off-white head. Spicy and caramellish aroma. Medium body, a little ashy roast, caramel and yeast and a surprisingly bitter finish. 310312

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a small white head. Spiced and dry breadish aroma. Thick malty and light caramelish. Bitter and toasted malty. Roasted and light malty finish.

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, fruits, nuts and hops.

Bottle @ FOneFan. Clear deep amber with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, yeast and a little toffee. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, caramel, little toffee, yeast, fruit, dark fruits, hops and a little bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy reddish amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. 310312

Bottle: Harvest 2010: Medium vast creamy light yellow light tan ish head on top of a clear amber colored beer. Smell barleys, barley malts, cream, some hops, darker fruits, raisin, prunes, yeast. Very soft creamy and fresh malty. Taste lots of fresh and creamy barley malts with some hints of darker fruits light light sour tint, some caramel, some gentle ad soft roasted/toasted malts. Malty caramel light light sour aftertaste. Low carbo, soft almost silky mouthfeel, medium to full body, creamy texture. A very good beer from Gulpener!

Glowing amber body with rocky beige head. Delicate aroma, nutty, nutmeg, noble hops, matured cheese, some coffe even and a bit earthy. Very nice so far. Taste, unfortunately, is a bit disapointing. The fairly high carbonation and full enough body cannot bring more than a moderate bitterness and some roasty notes. Not especially challenging or complex. Malty sweetness provides the back bone. Maybe some extra of that sweetness would have been nice. Easily drinkable, though. (75cl bottle, labeled 2010 harvest)
