Poured a reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma of spice and mint, sweet berry fruit. Medium creamy body, flavour of sugary caramel and fruit with a sweet aftertaste.

appearance: Copper brown with beige head, not much retention.
smell: Brown sugar and dark fruits. Roasted malts. Some rye & clove.
taste: Sweet syrupy brown sugar / caramel followed by the red ripe fruits and a very light hoppy, rye with clove like, bitter. Surprisingly light considering the ABV.
mouthfeel: A bit bland. Lacks just that little bit of creaminess to give it more body. Medium carbonation.
overall: This one surprised me. Usually these themed (winter) beers aren’t really my thing, but this one is just lovely. It’s a very easy drink though, so kinda dangerous :)

Donker bier met een wat rode schuimkraag. Beetje droog mondgevoel. Aroma is fijn met wat Kruidnagel. Smaak is van bitter maar zoet, wat caramel en donkere cacao.

Nice, dark, tea-like color. In the hardly found aroma is the sense of alcohol and barley. It tastes a little bit like licorice, with a small bitter, dry aftertaste.
De kleur is mooi donker, als sterk gezette thee. In het licht aanwezige aroma komt licht de geur van mout en alcohol omhoog. In de verte een smaak van zoethout, met een droge lichtbittere nasmaak.

Barely any aroma, hay yeast.
Smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation full body.
Light sourness in the taste, caramel, hay in the taste.
Better then expected but not that good a beer.

Doesn’t deliver on the promise written on the backside. The aroma is quite dull, hardly any tones of the promised spices. Malty taste. A bit old taste although the bottle is fresh. Regular bitter finish, mix of hop and malt
