(on bottle) I´m aware that taste differs form person to person, but I´m gonna take a moment here and lecture about taste trails in beers. It´s a ni ce dark golden red beer with a white head. The aroma is heavy malted and slightly herbish, somewhat sweet and cake like. Drinking the beer gives a lesson in why a brewer needs to use the whole range of taste in his construction of the brew. Using a heavy malted english styled beer as background for such a oily, rich and rustic herb as rosmary, is bound to get way too sweet, singled lined and cloying, on the brim to be undrinkable. At 5,2 and a very low carbonation level, the beer looses any chance to get any balance. Too bad, ´cause I´m gonna be at Kulinarisk Sydfyn the whole weekend. Maybe storing it in one of the icehoses on the harbour could help?

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear amber/brown - white head. Red berries, fruity, medium malty, light hoppy, nutty, caramel, spicy, straw, tea, herbal. A bit plain and wierd.

Sweet aroma of caramel and spices.
Sweet flavour of caramel, spices and hops with notes of burnt sugar.
Hoppy finish.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, spices, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Aroma of sweetness, light caramel, herbs, and some spice. Flavour of caramel, spice, sweetness and herbs. Medium bodied. Has a dry caramelly end with a light bitter touch.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty, light grassy hoppy. Roasted malty, bitter and slight caramelish. Otherwise bitter and roasted finish.

Bottle, courtesy of Christianscheffel. A clear, dark amber beer with a small, beige head. A very malt-dominated beer with a herbal note and some chocolate. The flavor too is malt-dominated, some chocolate and herbal notes too. Some meaty notes. Full-bodied. Some sweetness in the finish, which else has caramel maltyness. A quite nice one, but not a beer I would spend lots of money buying. 100814

Light unclear medium to dark brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, spicy, moderate to heavy rosemary. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration.
