Pours a clear amber with a decent white head, good lacing, aroma is roasty caramel, soft toffee, taste is nice bitter hop ness with a good sweet backbone, toasty caramel. Light body clean finish

Half pint, from cask at Guildford Arms. Amber-gold in appearance, patchy hue. Hay and grass to the nose. Mild malt-fruity taste with a decent bitter support. Satisfying (Edinburgh, 14.04.2012).

Cask by gravity at Larbert Beer Festival (31 Mar 12) - very little aroma, clear solid gold ale with a frothy off-white head, refreshing, mild citrus, high carbonation, slighty bitter finish and aftertaste

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Pours a blonde colour with a decent white head. Hoppy aroma of grass, lemon cheesecake, caramel, yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours and quite bitter with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.
