For at lager beer Edles Lagerbier get the most out of the bready aromas from the malt. Very drikable. I close my eyes and think of af Franconian biergarten, when I drink this lovely beer.

On tap at the huber haus, lucky us. Golden amber color. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet malty flavor, perhaps in a toffee way. Palate is very smooth. A very pleasant, drinkable beer. As good as what I remember from Oktoberfest.

From the firkin at the Huber Haus. Pours dark gold with a medium white head. Intense straw and cut hay aroma. This is remarkably delicious. Rich malty palate. The sweetness is amazing with a great lemon crisp bitter hop finish. A festbier that reminds me of die wiesen beers.

Spuyten- Amber Marzen.- Although not amber. Pours a deep golden mostly clear with a thin white head. Aroma is toasty big nutty malts, hay, straw, fresh herbal hops and crackers. Flavor of some honey sweet malts, light toast, biscuit, green grassy homes some bigger caramelized malts as it warms- decocted tones, melanoiden with a medium body and good finish.

Bright copper colour. Nice thick head. Clean. Coppery nose with light caramel malts. Clean malt taste, maybe a touch watery but with just enough caramel to keep it interesting.

Draught@Akkurat. Amber colour with minor beigeish head. Aroma is sweet malts, wood, some herbs and mild earthcellary notes. Flavour is caramel malts, wood, herbs and some mild grassy and herbal notes as well.

Draft @ brewery. Amber color and clear with thick head and scattered lace. Great sweet juicy grain aromas. Good hop/malt balance reminiscent of an American amber. Sweet fruitiness of the malt shines through, yum.

Gravity cask at Gourmet Haus Staudt. Hazy golden in color with a one finger bubbly white head. Aroma is nice sweet pale malt, corn, floral and grassy hop notes. The flavor is smooth sweet maltiness, pale malt and honey, with a good grassy hop kick at the finish. Smooth on the mouthfeel and refreshing and crisp with medium-light body. Really solid stuff, especially in this format.
