From a wooden cask at Spuyten Duyvil. Very pale golden straw pour with a tight white head. The nose is very clean and a little bit crackery. There is a bit of nice noble spiciness. Lingering bready/crackery malt. Very clean and spicy/herbal with a great bright clean freshness. Soft and very well-balanced. Crisp crackery finish.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a fluffy white foam. Moderately sweet and strawy malty aroma with a tinge of oak honey, accompanied by herbal and slightly flowery hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly biscuity (cara-)malt character with a touch of honey and a mildly hoppy backbone; sweet and delicately bitter hoppy finish with a lasting malty aftertaste. Decent. 14.V.12
