Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sour bread, roasted, caramel, burnt malt, dark roasted. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sour bread, roasted malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110525]

Draught@Akkurat, Stockholm. Deep ambery brown colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malty along with some mild roasted notes as well as some dark chocolate. Flavour is rather sweet caramel malts, some chocolate, coffee and mild roasted notes as well. Also some dark dry fruity sweetness. A bit watery, otherwise quite nice.

On tap at Ølbaren. It’s a dark brown beer, lacings left by the small, off-white head. Roasted malts, caramel and a faint whiff of cooked vegetables on the nose. The flavor has caramel and some roasted malts, a weak but pleasant bitterness chimes in towards the end. Dry on the palate. There’s some grainy notes going on all the way, would like to avoid that, but it’s a decent beer anyway. 110527
