Cold filtered beer free from any preservatives. Good natural head, clean, full-bodied taste, hoppy flavour.
Brewed under licence in the UK by Hepworth. No evidence that this beer exists in Nepal.

660ml bottle at the Swan Hotel, Hythe. Amber with a thin white head; sweet corn syrup aroma; quite full bodied, clean and slightly sweet but with good bitterness, and a dry finish. Better than I expected.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2007 £4 660ml bottle in a Nepalese restaurant. Seems I’ve been had a bit here. Soft, wheaty and impressively lacy. Grainily malty snout. Clean, crisp and slightly rubbery. Cereally afters. All malt and no hops. Forgettable but inoffensive Asian lager. From Sussex.

Rubbish. This just tastes like Carling put in a silly bottle with some Indian on the front. Sherpa is a really poor lager - I have nothing more to say about it. I did mark it up a couple of percentiles as the bottle was so rubbish, it made me and ruprecht laugh!

This is propably the most generic beer you can find from Nepal. Every country has one, this must be theirs. Nothing bad with it, yet nothing to remember.

Bottled. Golden, almost copper colour, small white head. Aroma is British hops, malts and quite much floweryness. Flavour is sweet malts with hoppy filling finish.

Bottle. Bright yellow/gold with a small head. Aromas are grain and sugar with hints of citrus. Some metal. Flavours are buttery with sweet grain. Also has lemon, sugar and corn. Has an unpleasant "smoothness".

Bottle. Gold with thin white hea.d After long cycle ride, this was refreshing to start with and then got worse. Not a good lager. Odd flavours. Poor.
