Bottle: Amber to deep amber coloured, small lacy off-white head, fruity-caramelly nose with a tinge of molasses and light, but distinctive traces of roasted malt; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; bitter-sweet toasty finish. Quite O.K. …

dark brown hazy color. coffee colored head. smells of black currant juice, roasted malt aromas. great smell. unfortunatly this beer is lacking on the taste, simply too weak. light body. tastes coffee, and bitterness from the malt. after the strong smell i was looking forward to a stronger body.

Bottle from the Craft Beer Store in Hamburg, pours black with a fast-settling head and light aromas of blackcurrant wine, cocoa and toast. Palate is a little watery for a Stout, but nicely toasty with plummy fruit, faint notes of burnt treacle, smoke and soy sauce, and a touch of coffee.
