Darker copper red body and bubbly instable beige head. Herbal, traditional style hops, light toasty. Not as expressive as expected, misses sweetness maybe. Also, the big bubbly carbonation gets in your nose. Moderate herbal bitterness, cookie like malts yet too thin for me. Or too carbonated. Either way it doesn?t justify the abv. Bit disappointing. At least there’s an interesting, original feel to it. Maybe it’s just me not being so into spiced beers. (33cl bottle from Wasana?s Getränken Oase)

courtesy of Toni Flükiger - clear brown beer with no head retention; aroma of green beans and bacon (sounds terrible but is actually pretty nice), undefined spicy tones (maybe nutmeg);pretty assertive and tasty palate; a solid malt backbone and a subtle yet fair carbonation; pretty dry and spicy malty finish with more notes of bacon - deeply original beer again from this brewery

33cl bottle from the brewery. Pours mostly clear, deep brown colored body with a slight reddish hue. Finger-width, creamy, light brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is fairly sweet with bready caramels, a few dark fruits, touches of roast, and touches of herbs. Flavor is similar. Sweet and bready caramels with some dark fruits, a light herbal spicing throughout, and a light roast. Finishes sweet and a bit cloying, but dry with a very light bitterness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium-full body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, this was decent, but too sweet for me to fully enjoy. It wasn’t too terribly cloying and out of balance, but it wasn’t quite for me.

Dark toffee colored pour. Medium-sized tan head. Slow falling and a little bit of lacing. A bready aroma with a sweet flower aroma. A bit weedy as well.Taste is like bread with a burnt sugar note. A bit strange, but not overly bad. I’d pass on it again though.

Bottle from Wasana´s Getränke Oase, Idar-Oberstein. Pours hazy dark amber with a big off-white creamy head. Aroma is spicy malts. Taste is strange, malty and meaty, lots of herbal notes here, well balanced, some liquorice at the final, very wel hidden alcohol. Nice, but strange.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and straw, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
