Geruch dunkles Malz, Zitrone, Grapefruit. Start süß, Zitrone. Mitte würzmalzig, Grapefruit, etwas zu liquide. Abgangs Malz, säuerlich, Grapefruitaromen. Könnte entschlossener wirken.

0,33l bottle from beerbottle.eu. Again a very decent IPA with all trademarks of this style. I am wondering if the story behind is true. A true Austrian IPA? A nice thought! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Fritz Brauhaus, Greifswald, 18/07/15. Clear golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel, melon, mandarin, light pine, pinch of spice. Taste comprises orange pith, mandarin, mellow tropical vibes, straw, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a slather of juicy hops. Ok.

0,33 l bottle bought at Grebhan´s, Bremen. Unclear read golden in the glass, very foamy nearly two finger white head. Intensive floral hopy nose, grapefruit and mango. Taste starts hopy fruity, honey, decent bitterness, present malt, resin. Fresh. Smooth finish.

330 ml bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Looks: Transluclent dark amber colour with thin trace of yeast sedimentsThree-quarter finger head and soapy off-white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Excellent sticky lacing with near zero carbonation.

Aroma: Fragrant and sweet amber Ale malt, with strong honey, lychee, light grapefruit, floral, caramel, resin, yeast, light lemon and grass.

Taste: Close to medium sweet light Ale malt, with grapefruits, light molasses, fairly strong resin, very light pine, spices, yeast, strong lemon, fairly strong bitter hops and grass.

Body: Medium body. Thin but sluggish and oozy palate.

Mouth Feel: Ale maltyness is light, close to watery but in a thick and sluggish body. Grapefruit zest and fairly strong resin dominate with light molasses, spices, yeast and lemon. Kinda okay but nah!

Hoppiness: Strong Citra nose as in sweet lychee, strong honey, floral, citrus and resin. Taste is grapefruits, resin ooze, strong lemon and grass. Bitterness is strong for lasting, high astringent grassy finish.

After Taste: Fairly dry. Watery oozy and strong bitter to mouth.

Comments: With all these nice hops, I was expecting a lot from this one, but aside from strong Citra characters, its maltyness is hollow and watery, the strong resin and bitterness couldn’t compensate its lack of IPA’s richness. Drinkable but disappointing.

Clear, copper colored, medium strong, lasting off white head. Aroma is caramel malt, quite tropical fruity, citrus. Taste is moderate sweet malt, caramel, biscuit, mild tropical fruit and citrus finish, moderate bitterness, quite dry bitter finish and after. Moderate bodied and carbonation. Nice hop aroma at start but it weakens relatively fast, flavor is more on the malt side, bitterness is fine.

L: -pours a hazy golden-orange with a big, foamy, white head -low-medium carbonation visible -beer exploded upon opening S: -very Citra forward -lemon,tangerines,oranges,melons,peaches the nose -very low bitterniss for an IPA F: -light body, too light for a 6,5%er -medium carbonation O: T&A is pleasant but it lacks bitterniss and body.

330ml bottle at home bought at Merkur Hoher Markt. BB 03/2016. amber hazy color, quite big off-white head unfortunatly also rather stable. smells of pines, herbs, citric notes, light sweetness, a bit soapy. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of pines, grass, some sweetness, citric, grapefruity, orange zest, herbs, alcohol lightly noticeable, a bit soapy. finishes with light grapefruit, herbs and citric bitterness. quite good, I remember not liking this too much the first times I tried it, years ago, but its rather nice, maybe they changed the recipe over the years.

0,33l pullo @ Schweizerhaus Vienna. Lähes kirkas oranssinkeltainen. Tuoksussa sitrusta, humalaa, appelsiinia, mallasta ja vähän metsää. Maussa appelsiinia, humalaa, hiukan neulasia, aavistuksen paahteista mallasta, hiukan karamellia, leipää. On hyvää!
