Kita (1030) - Koper, SLOVENIA - OCT 31, 2013
Bottled, 0.33l. Cloudy amber color with medium frothy, mostly diminishing off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of wheat, coriander, banana, yeast and light herbal hops. Taste starts light sweet grainy with mild spicy and grassy following, without any mentionable acidity and light bitter finish. Medium body, dry texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Pretty decent weizen, but lacks refreshing note...

33cl bottle from the brewery. Pours a cloudy, deeper orange colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened wheats with a good amount of banana, some citrus, and a light clove spice. Flavor is similar. Medium sweet wheats with some caramel notes, a good amount of banana, light clove spices, and some citrus. Finishes clean and somewhat dry before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Medium-light body and a soft, moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a decent hefe. Well balanced and easy drinking.
