Schöner Schaum direkt nach dem Einschenken, der lang erhalten bleibt. Geruchlich neutral, geschmacklich relativ langweilig bis geschmacklos.

Bottle 50cl, a cloudy orange beer with huge head. Nose is intense on banana and pineapple, touch of fresh bread. Aroma is slightly phenolic, malty, medium sweet, wheat and fresh bread notes, a properly made hefe, over the average.Sweet floral and caramel finish with still pineapple notes.

Bottle, from Message in a bottle, Cleethorpes. Cloudy orange gold, thin shortlived white head and delicate condition. Good estery nose with hints of citrus, yeast and cloves, a little subdued in the mouth although quite sweet and yeasty with hints of spicy clove and zesty citrus all coming through, with time it becomes a little thin and metallic which lingers into the finish but doesnt fully mask a delicate spiciness and a hint of yeast bitterness.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Yeasty, slightly dusty wheaty aroma with notes of banana, sour dough and hints of grassy hops. Slightly sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Moderately wheaty, banana-fruity and slightly citric taste with spicy phenols in the background; moderately sweet and slightly sour finish. A bit boring. 27.V.15

Irgendwie sind sie ja alle wirklich gleich. Brotig und voller Hefe, dazu etwas zu viel Frucht und ordentlich Perlung. Kein Klassiker der Braukunst, aber alles in allem ok.

Bottle from Erzengel - many thanks, Garbriel! The beer has got a cloudy amber colour with a steady head and smooth body. Aroma of yeast and dough. Taste of yeast, wheat, bread, fruit salad and dough. Solid in its style, yet not my kind of beer.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Cloudy, honey like color. Has a nice head and leaves good lacing. Nice floral, banana smell, typical for a hefeweizen. Wheat and lemon in the taste. Just a bit tart. Not much hop character. Body feels light and smooth, not too much carbonation. Overall this was a decent hefeweizen.
