Hazy yellow color with medium head. Aroma is yeast and cardboard. Flavor is yeast, some citrus. Not too bad...

500ml bottle. Cloudy, minimally faint golden colour with average, frothy, appropriate white head. Minimally diluted, wheaty aroma, a touch of lemon, orange and mandarine, well disguised hints of the typical muggy, doughy notes of Low Alcohol beers. Taste is moderately sweet wheaty, fruity, hints of orange, lemon, bamboo notes, doughy, muggy background; flat carbonation, slightly watery. Too sweet.

Hazy gold with a foamy white head. Light malt, hints of banana and citrus. Rather forgettable.

50cl bottle bb 10/2014, wasn’t paying attention when sleepwalking through Fristo and mistook this for the real thing... - Pours decent enough, dusty orange with stable head. Immediately emanating grape-sugar/dextrose, dry shampoo, corn starch, carpet cleaning powder. Taste and palate are defined by all the starchy and isotonic-fruity grains, - would be an insult to the designated driver compared to his friends having the real Gutmann at the same table.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, süß, getreidig. Geschmack hefig, gereidig süß, wässrig fruchtig.

Nice cloudy orange colour with huge head. The beer starts strange bitter, absolutely non-weizen-typical. Nearly disgusting. The mainpart is indescribable bad, muddy, dry, slightly sweet, grainy, …
The aftertaste is long (which doesn’t make it better), muddy, dusty, grainy, strange sweet.
--> how can someone brewing absolutely great "normal" beers release something that awful like this?

Pours out in a dirty, unclear orange colour with airy steady head and medium body. Nose of yeast. Taste of old yeast, old bread and acid. Awful, unpleasant. Not drinkable.

Zu Beginn glaubte ich noch an etwas Früchte und leichte Säure, doch ein paar Sekunden später hatte es sich offenbart. Dumpf, holzig, dünn und ein bisschen eklig. Neue, neee !

Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, white, fully lasting. Body is hazy medium to dark yellow, unfiltered. Aroma is moderately malty (cereal, horse feed, wort), with a light note of banana taffy. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky/raw. Medium body, velvety/watery texture, lively carbonation. I do enjoy trying non-alcoholic beers now and then to see what can be achieved with so little...and I still drink Bitburger Drive occasionally to this day. I’ve always thought Weizen offered the best chances for non-alc to be tasty, but alas, this one is not good. It looks great, mind you, with a big lasting head and hazy/unfiltered body, but that’s where it ends...very raw feedbag/wort odor and equally raw in the mouth. Mouthfeel is quite nice, rich and fluffy, but that can’t save the beer as a whole.
