3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark yellow colored with strong hazyness. Little white head. Rich aroma with nice fruity spiciness and yeast dominating. Some grains with banana here too, I like this aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is not as good as aroma: slightly watery palate, still rich fruits here in somehow dry flavor, same grainy notes with spices and banana also come up. Refreshing brew. Aftertaste lasts with yeasty-banana.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Spectacular murky golden body topped by a large, sticky, rocky white head that lasts forever and build up all kinds of funny shapes. Pretty phenolic aroma, certainly clovey, but also medicinal. Esters come up as well in the shape of honey melon, pureed bananas and it eventually closes on earthiness where the mildest cinnamon notes appear. This is already quite original, but its most fascinating feature has to be the mouthfeel that is very dry for a weizen first of all, but also enormously full-bodied. It immediately expands into a thick, chewy meringue foam in mouth. Unique texture, full on wheaty breadiness. Perhaps not the liveliest, nor the tastiest, but this is a very original weizen in many ways and gets my respect despite being so unclean.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, citrusfruit, some spices, yeast and banana. Flavour is spiced, bananas, some wheat and yeast. Also some fruityness is there balancing it up. Pleasant but boring.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled: Fruity, sourly aroma. Notes of lemon and spices. Hazy, light yeloow color. Creamy white head. Flavor is very wheaty and intensive spicy (cloves, coriander) with some fruity hints of orange and mango. Astringent, light sourly finish. Nice spicy wheat.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Pours a cloudy golden bronze with a big, well-lacing frothy white head. Aroma has nice banana, clove and sweet wheatiness with a good yeasty profile. Body starts fairly full and sweet with good authenticity and balance toward a doughy clove finish. A nice hefeweizen.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Pale yellow coloured. Unclear. Dense white head. Yeast, banana, spice and citrus in the aroma. Flavour is a bit more bland than the aroma, but has the same notes of especially yeast and banana. Is light citric as well. A bit thin bodied. Has some dryness. Is spiced and yeasty in the end.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Moderate haze with champagne-like spritz. Sourish, slightly sulphurous burning plastic-scented snout with lots of alcohol and a hint of bacon. Crisp and wheaty or thin and watery, depending on how big and fruity you like your hefeweizen. Sharp, fresh and savoury with a lick of sour apple gobstopper. It’s just about won me over, but not a hefe I’ll be returning to in a hurry.
