Pours a murky hazy orange colour with a small white thick head. Aroma of strong yeast, some perfume and weak banana. Flavour of wheat, grains, strong yeast, weak banana and clove. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and quite rough mouthfeel with a light fruity finish. Too much yeast and quite rough.

Hazy orange golden colour with average to big white fluffy head.
Wheat, grain, mild caramel, fruit and yeast in aroma.
Flavour is very smooth. Wheat, grain, mild rubber and yeast in dry flavour. Dry and not that fruity Weizen.

Sehr hell und trüb, fast schon wie bei nem Bananenweizen, der feinporige Schaum steht super! Geruchlich ists leicht hefig, würzig und etwas säuerlich. Geschmacklich ists fruchtig, würzig, und im zweiten Nachgeschmack wird’s etwas bitter. Sehr ausgewogen, die Aromen harmonieren einfach super.

Ljusgul öl. Inte så kraftigt skum som är vanligt hos weissbier. Typiska weissbierdofter, jäst, lätt kryddighet. Skumbanan och lätt citrus i smaken. Långt ifrån toppen av weissbier.

Bottle. Cloudy to clear yellow with resilient white head. Typical hefe notes. Quite nice.

(Flasche) Das Weizen hat eine schöne, feine, starke Hefetrübung. Es hat eine dunkelgelbe, aber nicht orange, sondern eher dreckig aber trotzdem schöne Farbe. schneeweiße Zudem kommt noch eine schneeweiße Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist in sich stimmig, schön malzig mit einer hopfig-würzigen Kopfnote. Der Geschmack ist sehr weich, vollmundig aber trotzdem leicht. Es ist kaum süß, die hopfige Kopfnote ist schmeckbar aber die Karbonisierung könnte besser sein. Zusammengefasst ein sehr süffiges und angenehmes Weizen.

bottle. bbd 2/2012. well shucks, after the mind-blowing experience of the weizen bock it appears this one is a dud :/ cloudy, muddy pale brown-yellow body with a patchy white head. estery neutral banana and lemon rind nose. chewy wheat, more banana, lemon rind and sugar, but it’s all rather limp and dull and a bit sourish, and the hops, while mild, impart a weak vegetable / celery note. nothing like the weisenbock and falls well short of what great german hefeweizen can be.

Bottle. Golden, cloudy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty – wheaty and sweetish aroma, fruitiness and some banana, some yeast and faint spiciness. Body is medium, malty – wheaty and sweetish flavor, fruitiness and banana, light yeast. Finish is average malty – wheaty and sweetish, some fruitiness and light banana, light spiciness with yeast. Sweetish and fruity hefeweizen - too sweet for me.
