É forse una delle poche weiss dove a mio parere le tonalitá fruttate, di banana in particolare, sono molto gradevoli e ben bilanciati con il resto. In bocca é piena e molto interessante. Non male.

0,5l Flasche. Goldgelbes fast hellbraunes Bier mit weißer Schaumkrone. Riecht fruchtig, hefig. Schmeckt auch so!

My Bottom Line:
Pears and cloves thrive in a rich and fluffy environment where doughy wheat and citrusy fruitiness add depth.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A dollop of foam tops the cloudy golden.
-The high carbonation helps alleviate the wheaty wealth.
-The finish could be snappier. As is, it’s faintly bitter and mostly wheaty and fruity
-This was scrumptious with a piece of creamy Gorgonzola (pear flavours and blue cheese, an obvious pairing).
-This textbook example may not be memorable due to its lack of distinctive features, but it remains a spot-on version, satisfying from the beginning of the pint to the last drop.

Riecht leicht nach Banane, aber nur ganz leicht, schmeckt im Antrunk stark nach Hefe und im Abgang leicht fruchtig mit ein bisschen Malz. Ein ganz schönes Weizen.

Bottled, 500ml at Stilbruch, Bamberg. Hazy yello gold with fizzed white head. This was a heady whiff of banana and pear drops, full of Wheat beer flavours and if you are a lover of the style this would be for you, but it’s not quite my thing. Still good though.

Banana and raisins taste with a delicate sour nute in finish. Full palate. Whitehead, stay longon top. Honey colour, hazy. One of the best hefeweizen for sure.

Hazy golden color with an amazing white head that keeps until the end. Aroma is fruity with notes of citrus, banana, yeast and bread. Flavor is malty and sweet with note also of yeast, bread and citrus. Medium to high carbonation with a medium to full body with a dry sweet yeast finish. Good one!

Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, thin white head. Aroma of wheat and loads of banana. Flavor is smooth, fruity and sweet with a thick creamy body and very well drinkable. Great hefeweizen.

Pours very cloudy brownish yellow, with a big off-white head. Aroma is dominated with overripe bananas, but there are notes of bubblegum and some spices too. Taste is very versatile and lively. It begins with notes of malt and bread, then some banana, and finishes with notes of yeast and slightly sour citrus. Sweetish overall impression. Quite light mouthfeel and soft carbonation. The Gutmann is a good one! (0,5 l bottle, best before 8 May 2014)
