Bottle 330ml. @ [ Tasting by Fin & Loz ].

Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, metalic. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, malt extract. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111023]

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] A dark amber beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet malty and the flavor is sweet with notes of roasted bread. A fine beer.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is earth, some malts and spicesa long with herbs. Flavour is very much the same with some bitter fruity notes in the aftertaste.

<i>Bottled. </i> Hazy mid brown, average sized head. Fruity roasty nose. Sweet with caramelly malt covered in dust. Medium bodied with straightforward malt character and low bitterness. A bit lifeless.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel spicy flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Dark amber ale. Brewed with rye. Light aroma. The rye can be perceived in the aroma. Nice taste, peculiar, smooth, enough sweet. Simple palate, not too much aromatic.

Bottle. Nice head with medium duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, caramel, butter and hops.

33cl bottle from Carrefour, Calais. Ooops I did not like this, unlike most of the other ratings. Reddish brown colour which is hazy. Pours with no head. Red berry flavours and a bit of herb. Bit sour and woody in mouth, sour berry finish with drying hop too. However the combined flavours are a bit nasty.

Draft. Lightly hazed copper body, minimal off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some wheat, light flower, raisin. taste is moderately sweet, caramel, wheat, light raisin, earthy. Light-medium body.

Dark ruby, good off-white head. Light fruity (plums) nose. Medium-bodied. Carbonated. Fruity flavors (plum, fig) in the quite light malty base. Hints of sugar. Some yeasty notes and woody aftertaste.
