2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Rune (6125) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 17, 2013
Half, 7.3% abv, cask at Vernon Arms. Copper coloured body, headless, no lacing. Aroma of apples. Sweet, half dry, taste of apples offset by momentary tartness to the aftertaste. Medium bodied. Cider is not a favourite of mine, but alright to drink now and then. This one was ok, a tad too sweet though (Liverpool 08.04.2013)

Cask at The Punch Bowl in York. Pours burnished copper with a white smear. Aroma of old appleskin. Near med body. Flavor is almost oaky appleskin. It’s astringent, but not really dry. Almost or mayhap even actually bitter. Very tasty. Too drinkable.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Finn (3090) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2013
Hamilton Hall, Liverpool Street 5 Nov 12. JDW festivalcider. Gyldenbrun. Ikke skum. God plomme/eplearoma. Smaken passe tørr og ikke for søt. En bra cider. Omsider.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DruncanVeasey (6116) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2013 Pint out the chiller, Earl of Mercia, Coventry, 07/10/12. Headless gold. Slightly lambic, lime and crab aroma. Drying, mildly spontaneous, mid-sweet, almost flat with apple bubblegum and clovey hints. Ordered it thinking it was a Welsh stout, hence it’s become the only cider I’ve ever rated. On this showing it might not be the last.

Very dry and sweet with a smoked aroma, some of which is carried in its taste.

This is a pretty good cider
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DnAuK (112) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2012
One of the best ciders available. Amber in colour with a rich fruity aroma. Taste is somehow sweet, sour and bitter all at once. Like a good marmalade. Deceptively easy to drink and therefore far too easy to get drunk on.

Pours a golden colour without a head. Aroma of very sweet red apples, caramel and herbs. Flavour of sweet red apples, vanilla, herbs, caramel and alcohol. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel and low carbonation. Juicy cider with a bit too much alcohol.
3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bretwalda (6) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2012 does not count
I am not normaly a cider drinker. In trueth the only reason l’m drinking my 2nd pint of it now id due to the fact l liked the name and thought it was an ale.
Saying that its blooming marvellous! It also leaves an unplaceable after taste l can only liken to mead!
