Hazy light blond color; thin creamy head, persistent. Strong aroma of fresh apples, yellow and green, light marmalade too. Smooth mouthfeel, with good apple juice flavor, light acidity, some residual sweetness, and a light astringency to make it more complex. Excellent.

Tap at JDW Edgware Road. Pour clear, orange gold. Lightly dank, sweet apple aroma. Flavor is sweet but not excessive, with some must, sweat, tree bark and light acidity. Medium in body with flat carbonation. The finish is mild apple sweet, semi-dry with lingering dankness and some boozy warmth. Good cider.

Bag in a box at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Really surprised at the decent ratings this cider has got. Gold, clear. Few bubbles on top. Some decent scrumpy apple aroma. Touch too sweet on aroma. Bruised apple flesh flavour, touch of apple pie, touch of rubber too. It’s not great to be honest. I don’t like the rubber.
