Bottle, 500ml. *** Colour: Hazy bright golden yellow, small head. *** Nose: Mild aroma of sweet apples and strawberries. *** Mouthfeel: Light body, still watery. Very soft carbonation. *** Taste: Medium sweet apples, light lemon, faint oak at the start. Middle is slightly sour lemon, very faint apples. Finishes medium dry, of apple peel and lemon. More lemon yet to come in the aftertaste. *** Impressions: Fairly smooth and straightforward farmhouse cider. Refreshing, more lemon-y and than apple-y. Unsubtle, but pleasant.

Appearance: quite clear in spite of having turned the bottle twice. Definitely not cloudy. Pressure and carbonation fine. Claimed to be medium dry, but is actually medium sweet. A major difference, and a major disappointment. Aroma has apple, but lacks character. Taste is like your average apple juice from the local supermarket. Which is much cheaper by the way. Never going to fall for this again, that’s for sure.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. A bit hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are both quite soft sort of speak. Quite smooth texture - wise, lightly apple and moderate to heavy sweet. Drinkable.

Simple apple flavor and aroma. Cloudy yellow. Kind of plain, really. Good for a casual drink, but I was expecting more yeast character from the farmhouse name.
