Half pint of cider from cask at Jolly Judge. A slight haze to a amber-gold coloured body. Low, bubbly surface. Sweet fruity aroma of apples and pears. Similar taste profile of sweet apples and pears. Dry, almost sticky, sweet ending. Quite drinkable, however, one half was enough for me (Edinburgh 09.08.2013).

Blond color. Apple juice aroma. Apple juice flavor, semi sweet, with low character, just a hint of astringency and some lemon juice in the end.
Pleasant but simple.

Tap (Black Door, Helsinki)
Simple cidery aroma, slightly sharp and a little phenolic. Taste similar, but feels a little watered down. Completely clear, but fortunately not too pale. Should be made to proper strengths, as this slips down like fruitjuice, and then not filtered so much.

Draught @ Gastropub Nordic, Tampere.
Rated on 20110623.
Pours brown colour with no head. Aroma of sweet pear and some sour apple. Sweet pear is stronger on the flavor with a little dry sourness. Palate is slick with a mouth-drying aftertaste. A bit too sweet.

Draught at Old Brick’s Inn, Jyväskylä. Golden to copper color, still. Sweet ripe apple aroma and flavor with some whiskey like phenols, pineapple, and hint of acetic sharpness. Soft slightly oily and woody palate, virtually no carbonation. Balanced and enjoyable cider.
