COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled only.
An exquisite rich and golden coloured cider with a crisp medium taste. Our vintage scrumpy is full of flavours and aroma coupled only with our mature vintage ciders. Enjoy by itself or as an accompaniment to most meat and fish dishes.

500ml bottle from BeerRitz online store. Clear orangey golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of sour apple skins. Mellow apple flavour with vanilla notes, and some balanced acidity and tannins. Crisp mouthfeel, medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, clean finish. Quite drinkable.

minutemat (880) - Ford, Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2014
500ml bottle from Tesco Newtown. Pours a deep orange, very fruity with a touch of tropical fruit juice and a comforting dryness on the old chops. Very nice indeed.

Pours quite dark for a cider. Find this one to be a little on the bland side with little flavour to excite the taste buds. Quite flat.

Has a slight vinegar edge to it sniff. Surprisingly refreshing for a scrumpy. Golden and clear in colour.

Bottle. Yellow hazy. Nose has fresh, ripe, and a bit tart, red apples, some cinnamon vanilla. Body is light medium. A tad of acidity, cleansing, excellent drinkability.

ComradeK (922) - The Vale of Dundas, AUSTRALIA - JAN 30, 2012
500ml bottle, 2009 vintage. Typical scrumpy aromas of apple skin and leather mix with a some slightly sweet lime on the nose. Tart apple skin introduces it, with a hint of fine tannin leading into some subtle spice notes. A touch of lime introduces a quite dry apple body, with some leather notes. A faint lemon flavour couples well with apple skin in the finish. A delicious scrumpy, and yet another fine effort from Gwynt y Ddraig, surely one of the best cideries out there.

Golden with a small white head. Sweetish ripe apple aroma with a funky touch. Sweet ripe red apple flavour with a touch of wood and funk

Bottle. Cloudy gold body. Apple. Bittersweet. Dry finish. Not much to say really, though enjoyable.

500ml bottle (ChrisO’s, post RBESG2011 Sunday)
Fizzy, sweet, and clear. No way is this a scrumpy. Way too sweet. At least it’s full of apple flavour, with a gentle aged feel to it.

Bottled. A hazy golden cider with a yellowish head. The aroma is dominated by apples. The flavor is sweet and is dominated by apples, leading to a lightly tart finish.
