Bottle. Clear gold, a wisp of white head lingers a couple of minutes, then there’s just a few bubbles lazing up to the surface. Aroma of sweet apples, some vanilla and skin. Sweet mellow apples, some oak, skins, moderate acid bite coming through at the end. Pretty good, would have liked a little more tartness.

Golden with no head. Traditional cider aroma with slight vinegar notes. Sweet apple at first before a slightly oakey dry finish. Light and refreshing, just a bit over sweet for my tastes.

500ml bottle from Abergavenny Food Festival. First thing that hits you is a sweet, tangy apple taste that recalls those apple penny sweets you used to get in the corner shop. Hints of vanilla, and a curious apple taste. Absolutely delicious. Love how they’ve kept the original old label too.
