Oops. Thought I was ordering an ale and then found it was a cider. Thankfully this was a decent bit of apple juice, plenty of nose and plenty of body. Medium fizz, and a little fruity after burp. Not bad, and very light.

Bag in a box at Flower Pot Maidstonr. Clear orange gold colour no head. Served a touch warm maybe. Now this I do like. Great character on the applez and god solid tannins on the finish. By far my favourite cidery of the past couple of months. Just so much character and flavout whilst retaining a sweet apple juiciness. Then this dry palate and tannins too. Has everyrhing. Touch of acetone throughout. Delicious

Tap (Black Door, Helsinki, Cider Days 2011)
6 Dank leathery aroma.
3 Rich honey colour, no head.
6- A bit watery, but there’s a sweaty horsey leatheriness too. What’s there is nice, but it’s too dilute.
3 Again, watery, and no carbonation. Finish is a touch sweet, and a little sweaty.
11 Grows on you , but definitely lacks balls.
