Bag in a box at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 23/097/09. Per the box label this was at 7.2% ABV. Deep gold in colour with a slkight haze. Sweet apple juice aroma with soem banryard in the background. very easy drinking for the ABV, with plenty of juice, some mustiness and a decently dry finish. One of the best British ciders.

Bottle, Madame Fromage, Cardiff. Am not really a massive cider drinker, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. Poured an appealing rich golden colour with a vanishing head. Very clean and smooth taste with oaky tones. Alcohol very well masked. Would definitely have this again; and this might well have ignited some future interest in fermented apples for me.

(Cask at GBBF, London, 6 Aug 2008) Greenish yellow colour with no head. Fruity nose with distinct notes of fresh apples and a hint of ligroin, paint remover. Fruity apply taste, medium sweet, clean and fresh with alcohol well hidden. Traces of smoke in the background. Really nice cider.

Handbottled by Doppelganger - Very slightly hazy, deep golden body, big bubbled fast disappering white head; Super, super deep very interesting nose, very citrus fruity acid almost acetic deep hay and barnyard aromas behind; Very nice fresh and deep body, water-like drinkable, very balanced with a touch of salt, lots of drying tartaric and tannic acids; Long great finish, tartic dry with lots of great aromas, slightly oaky with very mellow peel aromas as well. Great, very interesting almost pushy. Thanks!

Polypin at Banbury Beer Festival 08-05-08 Lovely golden colour, very bright and clear. Amazing aroma huge pollen burst, Casey got dill, Loz got rapeseed, Tracey got banana pepper? I just got another, actually I didn’t but I was very tempted, good earthiness and woody flavours but apples are always whipping around I really liked this but for me the aroma was just incredible whatever we eventually decide it to be.

At GBBF 2007. An unclear yellow cider with no head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of apples, and lighter notes of wood, while the flavor is sweet with notes of apples and wood.

Bottled. Bought this for my wife and ended up loving it myself. Fantastically fresh feeling, pours a clear gold with just enough tingling carbonation. Lovely fresh spice in the background, juicy apples up front. Gluggable on a dank, cold, wet December lunchtime; this would be a killer at a picnic on a balmy August afternoon.

Bottle. Bright gold in colour. Aromas are earthy, sweet apple with caramel and syrup. Some acidicy. Flavours are woody and dry with alcohol. Very earthy apple with a dry and acidic finish. Good.
