Sweet and slightly yeasty wheat-malty nose with complex fruit aromas of citrus, banana and peaches, accompanied by light spicy phenols (cloves, vanilla). Light-sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Good wheat-character, slightly yeasty and moderately fruity taste; sweet and slightly sour-fruity finish with light spicy notes. Hazy medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, light hoppy and yeasty, banana, sour. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Refreshing and easy to drink. Both aroma and flavour has sour barnyard notes and a hint of wheat - really terrible... sayravai (3027), Helsinki, Finland Oct 26, 2005 (Bottled) Murky yellow color with a small, tight head. Fruity, slightly sweet and acidic aroma. Slightly cardboardy flavor with phenolic fruit. Medium body with plain everything and quite low carbonation. A plain weizen with not much to remember.
