Nice sweet, malty aroma with reddish brown color. Fizzy with no head at all. Kind of molasses and syrupy taste, but a bit too watery.

Aug 28, 2008 Bottle: Deep red colour,thin white heaed. Aroma of lots of malts and caramel,chocolate,and has a nice hopy ending. Flavor is smouth malty mouth feeling,some caramel and raisins too. werry nice medium body, and a nice nice malty/alcy finish. Well done!

Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Very malty, sour and dark molasses. Small creamy brown head, fast disappearing; dark red body. Light sweet taste, later on it gets moderate bitter, average duration. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.

pours a clear dark brown with a ruby tint, thin light tan head, not much lacing..
smell is of caramel, malt, sweet corn, touch of grain, some brown sugar.
taste is dry yet crisp, malt, corn, touch of sweet caramel, leaves the mouth dry.

Jul 29, 2008 Bottle from By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a dark brown body with a minimal head. Thick, nutty, caramel and sweet. Lots of dark fruit flavors and a distinct binding yeastiness. Roasted and packing some wallop. Nothing super special, but quite good.
