FrankJohansen (2565), Sabro, Denmark Nov 12, 2007 Bottle. Clear golden colour with a huge white mostly lasting head. Rich malty aroma and taste with a nice bitter grassy finish. Ungstrup (10939), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 9, 2007 Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a grainy note. The flavor is sweet malty with a slight metallic hop note, leading to a dry bitter and metallic finish. The body is thin when the ABV is taken into account. Not my beer. Papsoe (9951), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 19, 2006 (On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a fairly tall and handsome head with good retention. Medium body with a solid and sweet malt base quickly buried in some rather raw bittering hops. But quite harmonious as a whole. 141106 pivnizub (3669), Porúří, Germany Nov 9, 2006 Bottle: Golden coloured, thin foamy layer, sticking a bit to the glass; cardboardy, malty and slightly bitter nose, "perfumed" with a touch of vegetables; light bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; sweet-bitter, very short finish. Very bland example of a typical "northern-german" Pilsener.......... MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 25, 2006 (bottle, with thanks to pivnizub !) Clear, pale golden with a mid-sized, not very stable blonde foamy head. Herbal hoppy aroma with a slightly sweet malty touch. Bitter flavour with strong metallic notes, light to medium body, crispy carbonated mouthfeel. Rather hops-accented character compared to the normal Hütt Pils. Soft malty base with strong herbal notes; dry and bitter finish with metallic hops. If they had chosen better hops…
