On tap at the Blue Diamond, Anderlecht, Belgium (now operating as an Italian restaurant), 13th November 2012. Gold with thin white fully lacing foam. Light hoppy aroma with leafy "pils" grassiness. Hoppy in-mouth with grass and citric flavours alongside light herbs. Grassy/herby finish. Powerful carbonation and light body.

Can 500ml @ Sommerhuset
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, and hint of grass. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

500 ml can bought at ParkNShop Superstore in Fanling.

Clear pale golden honey colour; Two finger head and crumpety white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with notable small carbonation; Light sweet aroma of malt, with sugar, very light floral, thick bread, light lemon and light grass; Mid to light sweet taste of malt, with fairly light grains, very light molasses, light bread, light lemon and light bitter grassy hops; Close to light body, thin but slick palate; Mouth feel is somewhat watered down, but still close to full maltyness. The sugary nose does not reflect onto palate, just notes of molasses, plus some like floral, okay breadyness. This is pretty close to a German Helles. Not bad… Hoppiness is light doses of floral, lemon and grass in nose and taste. Bitterness is fairly low in background for a muted and abrupt semi-finish; Fairly dry after taste. Easy to slightly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one feels more like an average German Helles: it has very good head, beautiful lacing, full malt got thinned somewhat, minimal sweet taste, and lesser hoppiness than regular Premier Lager. It’s a macro alright, but there’s not much to rant about. Inexpensive and easily enjoyable!

From can in Narita, Japan. This is hard to rate. As someone said, it’s completely inoffensive. On the other hand, it has no real character, good or bad. It pours a clear straw yellow with little white head. No lacing. Aroma is almost non-existent. Taste is mildly sweet, with grains and no evident hops. Thin mouthfeel. Not really what I’m looking for in a beer.

250ml bottle at home. Pale golden pour, thin, short-lived head. Light malt aromas, corn dusty lemon. Taste is bland. Inoffensive.

An entirely forgettable lager that it is only a slight step up from it’s American counterparts.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw yellow body under a one finger frothy white head that had pretty decent retention. The nose is typical Euro Lager, some slightly bready pale malt with some hop extract. The flavor is pretty bland and boring, bland pale maltiness that tastes a bit like cardboard on the finish, and a minimal bitterness on the back end. Tastes quite a bit like most green bottle Euro Lagers like Heineken and the like. Fairly clean and dry with a crispness to the finish. Pretty decent beer for what it is, I’d take this over a Heineken or Stella any day.

Draft @ PoolHall, Matonge.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2014 Middle of the road pils with a nice, sweet aroma. I leans more towards the danish style pilsner than to german og czech. I find some allspice in the aftertaste, but I’m not sure whether or not that’s just my buds effected by other stuff. Plain and simple, not too dull nor exactly exciting. If cheap by a six’er for that Friday afternoon
