On tap at the Blue Diamond, Anderlecht, Belgium (now operating as an Italian restaurant), 13th November 2012. Gold with thin white fully lacing foam. Light hoppy aroma with leafy "pils" grassiness. Hoppy in-mouth with grass and citric flavours alongside light herbs. Grassy/herby finish. Powerful carbonation and light body.

Bottles/tap. Just a Pilsener. All the standard stuff you all know. Just a entry for the record.

Patrickctenchi (5663) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - APR 12, 2016
Bottle: Clear, light gold with a foamy white head. .....6 1/2 months before "best by" and yet massively green-bottle skunked... Sweet, skunky grain malt/ barley flavor and taste.....a little grassy hop and a slight peppery-ness. Probably OK at the source...but not so much after the Belgium to Indiana voyage.

tmoreau (3410) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - APR 5, 2016
On tap at Warren’s Ale House in Wheaton, IL. as a 5 oz. flight sampler, showing a clear & bright, golden hue, with small bubbled frothiness to the white head foam, and sheet-like cling to the lacing. The nose was grainy, with sweet malt, and hints of corn husk & butter. Light bodied, with lively enough carbonation, light hop bite, and some earthy bitterness. Ultra sessionable, food & fest worthy.

Bottle thanks to Dunns. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - lemon and light metallic with a pale malt background. Taste - more of the same. Light butterscotch. Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - ok but not as refreshing as a lager should be.

Can. Rosy’s (no longer that cheap, cottage cheese, and still quite cheap bog roll) Emporium. Ok, this lager. Not exactly distinct from many others, although it has some hoppage. Ends up too sweet. Still necked three cans in an hour, mind you.

Pale golden colored, clear, small+ non lasting white head. Aroma is of malt, bit of grains and corn. Taste is low+ sweet malt, corn, bit grainy, bit of veggies and some low grassy bitterness. Light bodied, moderate carbonation.

Svag humle i smagen, en del sødme fra malten. Kunne godt være lidt mere spændende.....

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2016 Draught at le Fleurs du Malt bar, Lyon. Well at 2 € for 250 ml I won’t complain. Bright yellow. Tiny ringlet of white head on the edge of the glass. Cardboard and malt scent. Taste is a bland sweet with a touch of bitter astringency in the finish. Light touches of citrus. Substandard.
