2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It is nice hoppy and tasty but not particularly significant extent. There are many other lagers that certainly are just as good.

Gouden kleur met een middelgroote schuimkraag. Bier smaakt wat bitter. Heeft een wat aparte nasmaak.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
50 cl can @ home. Pours slightly cloudy yellow with a little sediment and a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are malt, grains, and perfume - with a slightly bitter finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
25 cl bottle. I don’t understand why Belgians put their light pale lagers into 25 cl bottles yet all their strong ales come in bigger 33 cl bottles. I fail to see the logic behind this. Anyway, this beer has a pale yellow body with a medium head. A bit sweet aroma of malt and soft hops. Clean and modest. Flavour is smooth and malty with soft hoppiness. A bit too watery but the flavours that are there are clean and balanced. It’s an alright drinking lager.

25 cl@Bartof in Tulip glass@approx 6 degrees C. Pours golden yellow with small white head with good retention. Fresh aroma of grain, bread and a hint of hops. Taste dominated by malt, but not without a certain fruitiness and the bitterness of the hops. Very well balanced and quite it’s own taste as it is so malt rich, but without it becoming too heavy. Bittersweet finish. The missus and I decided to have another one.. it was certainly good enough for that

33cl green bottle, overnight shipped to the us if it matters. Its your standard shit belgian lager, don’t care if it’s privately owned other than good for them for taking it to stella and jupiler.

Golden, fluffy white head
Aroma of soft cereal, light sweet malts, soft corn, slightly grassy
Taste of soft light cereal malts, touch grassy, dab of white bread, slight honey, easy going, plain lager
Palate - Soft carb, light medium body, soft sweet. Finish is clean, not much going on
Overall - Not too bad, no nasty flavours, mellow, easy going, but very plain

25cl bottle. A lovely bitter finish, and not that sweet too. But the mouth is very, very awkward. Watery, unappealing malts. Not my kind of lager.

Four pack cans from B&M, abv is 5%, not 5.2. Pale gold in colour, the white head fades quickly, still leaves a lace down the glass tho! A grassy style of lager, light in body, low in character, not much going for it, inoffensive about sums it up!
