2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Simple sweet euro lager, not much to say about it. It’s seemingly devoid of any hop whatsoever and I don’t like the certainly rushed fermentation either, not clean enough, no character, no smoothness. You’re better off with the big brands. (33cl bottle from Dekoninck)

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Generic lager with corn, hay, vegetable oil etc etc, but lifted above the others (ever so slightly) by an ever so slightly cleansing pepperiness and metallicularity at the back. On a scale of "puke" to "wow!" this rates as a definite lower-end "m’eh", but isn’t drain-pour.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear, light gold with a foamy white head.
.....6 1/2 months before "best by" and yet massively green-bottle skunked...
Sweet, skunky grain malt/ barley flavor and taste.....a little grassy hop and a slight peppery-ness.
Probably OK at the source...but not so much after the Belgium to Indiana voyage.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Warren’s Ale House in Wheaton, IL. as a 5 oz. flight sampler, showing a clear & bright, golden hue, with small bubbled frothiness to the white head foam, and sheet-like cling to the lacing. The nose was grainy, with sweet malt, and hints of corn husk & butter. Light bodied, with lively enough carbonation, light hop bite, and some earthy bitterness. Ultra sessionable, food & fest worthy.

Bottle thanks to Dunns.
Appearance - golden with a decent head.
Nose - lemon and light metallic with a pale malt background.

Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a fairly good finish.
Overall - ok but not as refreshing as a lager should be.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Rosy’s (no longer that cheap, cottage cheese, and still quite cheap bog roll) Emporium. Ok, this lager. Not exactly distinct from many others, although it has some hoppage. Ends up too sweet. Still necked three cans in an hour, mind you.
