cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Aug 12, 2009 Bottle in random place in Belgium ... nice hazy yellow ... oddd musty spice nose ... soft fruts ...light wheat tones ... very vegatable. wimpie133 (130), Brugge, Belgium Jul 18, 2009 Tap, 25 cl. Hazy yellow, medium white head. Smell is light grainy, a bit citrus, but not strong and nothing very special. The taste also is grainy, wheaty, but is far too sharp which makes it unpleasant to drink. The beer lacks depth: the taste is what it is without any variation and tint, shade. In fact, the taste stops with the sharp taste you have only wanting you to drink the beer faster so the glass is empty. Furthermore, the afterstaste is watery. Only a medium, standard, commercial Belgian witbier being brewed just to be brewed I think. I’m not a fan. altonbrownd (1862), Amsterdam, Netherlands May 25, 2009 On tap in Brussels. Hazy yellow with medium head. Nice fruity nose with citrus. Refreshing taste with plenty of citrus, lemon and some malt. Nice and tasty on a warm afternoon.
