A suprising beer indeed. I didn't expect much for a lager cheaper than VB and New for a case, and I actually thought it was European at first. I was played a fool.
Very sweet and easy. Smells a bit strange and leaves quite bad after taste in your mouth after way to many, but it was worth it at the end of the day. Certainly beats drinking New or VB!

Just tried so hard to be german but never made it. Cloudy appearance and strange chemical taste, if you want a german lager go and buy a real one not this crap.

A very malty lager that was a pleasure to drink, can't go wrong with the price either.

Average lager. Musty lager aroma. Pours golden yellow, foamy head. Overall flat and lifeless taste. Watery and lacking crispness in the finish. It joins Victoria Bitter as another Australian beer to avoid.

Someone thought calling a beer a double vowelled scandanavian sounding would be cool and profitable. Far from the truth. This is bland and weak, with a spongy hoppy taste that is better suited cleaning sink drains than ones thirsty throat. Take it back across the Tasman...pulease!

Clean gold look, big lager head that fades too quick. Very light aroma of nothing in particular. A faily standard average tasting beer with a cool frisbee that came free with a 6.

just the sweetest larger to have after a hard days work cold as .love malty aftertaste ,good hit,i drink it all the time.

Great looking bottle but pityfull in the inside. It does have a faint german hop taste to it but no aroma. Sweet as well, needs bitterness. Does look good in the glass, clear with some bubbles and a head but that is it. Since it is the same price as VB, I would buy this but it is no way near the class of real German Beers.
