Draught (@ ´Alter Zolln ´, Lübeck, in a beautiful "crackled" glass):Pale golden, hazy, stable rocky white head with a good lace, yeasty-grassy nose; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, soft; slightly lingering dryish but mild bitter-yeasty finish. Not the worst session beer…

Half Litre, on draught, served in a Haake glass. Two finger head. Very cloudy, pale colour. Smelled hints of banana mixed with typical north german freshness. Tasted hints of apples, slight mango and pears, reminded me of an English pale ale. Went down well. A nice beer to seek out when in the Bremen region.

Getrunken hab ich das Kräusen im "Schwan", einer gemütlichen Kneipe in Oldenburg mit zuvorkommender Bedienung. Farblich ist es trüb-hell und sieht im stilechten Glas ganz gut aus. Geschmacklich herb-säuerlich mit einer ausgeprägten Bitterkomponente, die vor allem den Nachhall beherrscht. Frisch, aber gewöhnungsbedürftig. Test vom 13.5.2007, Gebinde: Fass

At Papsoe’s pre CPH Beer Fest tasting, cheers Henrik! Hazy gold beer. Crisp palate, watery carawayish nutty malt. Nothing special.

Good beer, somehow something between wheetbeer and Pils. Special taste, you like it or not. I would recommend that.

Bottled. An unclear light golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw as well as a light note of eggs. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and eggs, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

cloudy dull yellow, with a nice head and maybe some lacing but the glass is fristed, on Tap at a great bier garden in Bremen, some fruity lemon notes but also some iron that detracts from the overall taste.

No thanks. At least not if I can get anything better. The metallic taste is just to much.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy pale yellow with a dense, and lacing white head. Some floral hops in the nose. Medium body, malty with some floral hops that leave a solid bitterness in the finish. 140509

Draught. Low and quickly disappearing white fluffy head. Slightly hazy yellkow body. Mild spicy barley malt aroma. Good herbal flavor with a fari amount of hops bitterness. Low carbonation and a short and weak aftertaste.
