Die Schaumkrone hält nicht gut, süßlich, zu intensiv hopfig-süß obwohl dies im vergleich zu manchen anderen Maiböcken noch mild ist, mir gefällt es dennoch nicht.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2012 170112: Fresh, cool and grassy scent - indeed almost spring-like. Taste: rich, strong and a good bitterness from the hops. German hops power..

Hopfig-malziger, sehr trocken wirkender Antrunk. Im Mittelteil leicht alkoholisch, darunter aber ziemlich wässrig. Leicht würzig im Nachgeschmack, dies versiegt schnell, ebenso wie der Alkoholton.

330ml bottle!
The beer in the glass is slightly pale yellow, could turn out stronger for a Maibock. The crown will disappear completely within a few seconds. Starts very sweet, almost too sweet for me a Maibock. The hops come through well, but is rejected by the pungent sweet tone in his place. In the middle section, the whole thing puts something. Although a good palatable Bock, but too sweet, in my opinion!
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerSkull (680) - SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2010
Sweet and sour scent of figs. Sour taste of figs and brown sugar, no bitterness. Fairly neutral aftertaste, except for the flavor of alkohol. This is a bit of a strange beer but I give some extra points for the distinct flavor of figs!
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Borr (19) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 31, 2010
This is not as good as Haake-Beck Pils. I think there´s to much alcohol in this one.

It is golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt and flower. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of alcohol, malt, flower and a light bitterness in the finish. It is rather crisp considering the style, but also a bit too boozy.
