Can. Primarily barley malt aroma - slight hops. Bright yellow with a big head. Camomile/rose flavor with strong bitter hops finish. Different - flowery yet bitter.

330ml bottle kindly shared by Finn at our rating session. Chalk white head with satisfying retention and leaving spotty lacing behind. Plain golden body. Pale malts to the nose. Nobel hops together with clean, pale malts in flavour. Subdued bittersweet ending. Standard German pilsener (at finns in Tromsø. 16.05.2012).

Bottle looks very simple, reminds me a bit of Sternburg Export, thats not a good thing. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest dry, a bit soapy. Finish balanced, a bit dry-hoppy. Average.

Flaske 0,33l fra Getränke Quelle, Göttingen. Delt med Rune under rateseanse i H9 16 Mai 12. Lys gylden. OK luftig, skinnende hvitt skum som varer en stund. Svakt metallisk aroma. Smaken svakt søtlig. Avslutter bittert. Anvendelig øl - men ikke til kos.

Bottled. Golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is malty, sweet hints. Flavor is like aroma hints of hop.Refreshing beer.

Das Pilsener von Haake Beck riecht hopfig-säuerlich. Sauer ebenfalls der Antrunk. Mitte pilsig herb, zum Abgang hin ansteigend. Unterdurchschnittliches Pils. Etwas Besonderes ist dieses Bier auf keinen Fall.Test vom 2.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Das Pils ist in erster Linie herb, unterstützt von einem malzigen Aroma. Außerdem ist es im Mittelteil ziemlich würzig. Erst im Abgang kommt eine leicht bittere Note hinzu. Das das Bier gut gehopft ist rundet das Ganze noch etwas ab. Zwar irgendwie durchschnitllich, gefällt mir aber trotzdem recht gut. Pours clear golden with a white head.Aroma of grassy and spicy hops with some malty notes.Flavor is sweet and malty with some note of yellow apples.Thin body, average carbonation.Ok pilsener.

Bottle shared with the in-law. Typical pils color, aroma and flavor, except it has a slightly more bitter aftertaste than normal. Nice.

Had this at a sidewalk cafe along the waterfront in Bremen, June 2009. It was a beautiful day touring Bremen with the family of my lovely exchange student. A warm day and the beer went well with lunch at the cafe.
