3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Borefts '12. Dark mahogany pour with a glass hugging head and lots of lace. The aroma is of dates and mature raisins. The raisins are there in the rich semi sweet flavour too. There is no bitterness and nothing sits on the palate for too long. A great ale to taste, but might quickly become a little sickly after the first pint!

Mørk lysebrun farge, urter og honning, tror haandbryggeriet har gått en smell her, smaker mer som fjernet enn øl

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught @ Borefts 12. Dark red-brown color, medium sized beige head that leaves a good lacing. Smell smoke, fingerpaint and some weird fruityness. Taste malts, smoke, a lot of paint again and a weird slightly sweet fruityness. Low to medium body, low to medium carbonation. Not my thing really.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This really is a strange beer indeed. When pouring it has no head at all, and there’s hardly any carbonation going on. The aroma is powerful, the most striking smell is of smoke and roasted malts, juniper, and the deep mystical forests of the Nordic countries. It takes me back to marshy mountain areas where I used to go fishing as a kid. The taste is dominated by smoke and the roasted malts, juniper, spices, it’s a little sweet, a little acidic, it’s much like tasting what the woods smell like, and it reminds me of that harsh smell of sheep in a barn. Although there’s a lot going on in there I couldn’t quite pick up the honey. It is very very strange. The palate is very dull, no carbonation at all, I think it would have been more pleasant if there was some. All in all it was very difficult to finish, I think they should have sold this in a 0,25 bottle to be honest. Interesting to taste, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
