COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In this classic wheat beer we use our own unique wheat yeast. This is a very refreshing beer with flavors of spice and citrus, a perfect summer beer.

A fine, if somewhat bland experience. However, if i had this on a warm summer day, the experience would probably have been more favourable. HaandBryggeriet delivers time and time again, so some higher marks comes from that. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy nice yellow colour. Big white head. The yeast stands nice out with some cloves and herbs. Little bit citrusy, alot of carbonation that fall too fast. Some pepperflavours. Too weak in alcohol but itsw a norwegian shop beer

500 ml bottle shared with czar. Thanks, mate! Pours a hazy golden with a resilient white head. Smell is malty. Not super tasty, some lemon, some spices. Sharp herbal hops. Light, spicy/honey notes. Watery mouthfeel. Good, but maybe a bit too light.

pours hazy light golden with a nice white head, decent retention/lacing. lemony, peppery, spicy, wheat, hint of acidity. prickly, light body - slightly watery, short but present grassy-herbal-citrusy finish. refreshingly ok for this interpretation but not so much of a hefe.

Batch #537, brewed 02.11.12. From a bottle, poured into a beer mug. The beer is straw coloured and hazy, and during the pour it developed a nice, fluffy head, which quickly diminished into a thin head, about 1/8th of an inch, with no lacing at all. It also looks quite fizzy. The beer has two particularily noticeable aromas; brass and citrus fruits. It also has a faint scent of yeast, and it smells a bit fruity and spicy too. I want to rate the aroma higher, but the metallic smell pulls down the score a bit. Its taste is quite mild, a bit malty, and slightly bitter. The mouthfeel is quite nice, as the beer has a light, yet slick feel to it, and with a nice, mellow and hoppy afteraste. It was surprisingly fizzy. Overall: Light, citrusy, a tad spicy, very fizzy; this is definitely a great beer for one of those hot summer days we never get in Norway. :)

Bottle 50 cl, batch 509. Golden to yellow, hazy with a minimal white head. Aroma of light wheat, spices and citrus. Fresh bitter taste with a light citrus and wheaty end.

0,5 l bottle at home. Batch # 347. Heavy sparkling clear golden body with a large off-white fluffy head. Citrus and spicy clove gives way to wooden notes on the nose. Sweet and spicy flavors in a beer that grows in the mouth and leaves a malty and a tad stale bitterness on the tongue. Medium body.

Bread and some clove/banana in aroma. A bit restrained for style. Pours cloudy. Golden colour. Good head retainment. Nice and crisp, a bit to neutral for my taste, but will probalbly go down ease with lagerlowers and after pulling out weeds. Missing a bit of the classic bavarian signature. More bread and more esters please!

Bottle: Poured a hazy golden color weizen with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light banana ester with some sugary wheat malt notes. Taste is also a mix of light banana ester with some good notes of bubblegum wheat malt. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not bad though not up to par with some of the best German example.

Pours a hazy golden colour, with a thick head that is gone too quickly. Aroma is yeast, spices and citrus. Medium mouthfeel, and the expected flavour of sour wheat and citrus, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Not to keen on wheat beers usually, but this one is quite good and refreshing.
