3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly to moderately yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of banana, pepper. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. An easy-going but pleasant quaffing sorta Hefeweizen. Not that exciting, but nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle dated September 2013, 10 weeks old at Amundsen in Oslo. Wheat is very expressive, nose in general is very lively and phenolic. Tart wheat, some dried banana slices, lemon, moderately musty weizen yeast. Medium sweet approach, more dry later, some tartness, very quenching acid, high carbonation (and that acid) so the moderate sweetness is seemingly cut. Fresh and vibrant and refreshing, medium-light body. Drinkable in large amounts.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle, batch 557, brewed 21st December 2012, 4.5% abv. Bought at Eurospar Langnes, Tromsø.
Deutschhhh big foam, hazy straw coloured body, fruity wheat-y scents with yellow apples and some herbs.
Wheat flavour, and also spices, yeast, citrus-something.
Only a little dry mealy feeling. Half dry ending, still fruity and fresh, still herbs and spices, though without apples now, and without bananas overall. Really one of the more fresh-fruity german hefeweizens present.

500 ml bottle. Light smell and cloudy colour. Citrusy taste, but quite short aftertaste. Refreshing beer and good value for money.
