Bottle batch 482. Hazy yellow/orange with a medium sized white head, that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is fruit esters - banana, citrus and light dusty herbal hops, wheat malt, farty, spices. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light acidic. Medium body, watery/oily texture, lively carbonation. Light sweet and dry finish with light esters.

Batch 30. Pours golden with a small off white head that leaves at once. Aroma of citrus and banana. Smooth taste of the same. Ok Weizen but not my kind of style.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bathory (360) - Bryne, NORWAY - NOV 25, 2012
Pours a hazy straw-colour with a white head that disappears a bit too fast. Breadlike aroma of of yeast, together with coriander and spruce. Aroma are wheat, spruce and something I can’t name.. cookies maybe? very bitter finish for a hefe-weiss. Way overcarbonated in my opinion. Would be a really good beer with some less carbonation and a bit lower bitterness in the finish. I enjoy drinking it to be honest, but it could be improved.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 rederic (2559) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 25, 2012
500ml bottle, batch 423, honey gold color, with a bubbly white head, but falls quickly, nice yeasty fruity ripe apple, doughy, vanilla nose, with some honeyed pale, toasted, bready, wheat malt accents, and with a light cinnamon, nutmeg spicy, vanilla pudding, tapioca milk pudding note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate, with a good fruity apple, pear, faint banana, doughy yeastiness character, with some spicy cinnamon, light apple strudel, honeyish pale, toasted, wheat malty flavours, and a with mild candied lemon peel, subtle vanilla tapioca milk pudding undertone, leading towards a yeasty, doughy, fruity bananaish, spicy vanilla, wheaten bread maltiness finish.
3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Boutip (3979) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 7, 2012
Bottle: poured a cloudy slightly dirty golden color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of banana ester is quite strong with some light wheat malt notes and light cloves as well. Taste is a nice mix between some banana ester with light wheat malt and some subtle cloves notes. Body is a bit too light for style with great carbonation. I really enjoyed the ester but the body and malt backbone was too light and seems to miss a bit of the yeasty finish that I usually enjoy in this style.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 SlovakSniper (2123) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 17, 2012
50 cl. Batch 423.
