This beer is brewed with an authentic wheat yeast that produce more tartness and less banana than usual with a smooth freshness to it, an easy drinking wheat beer.

500ml bottle. Pours with a big deep soft pure white head and is a bold amber colour. Strong sweet banana aroma with some cinnamon in the background. The flavour is full and carries some wight. Not as thin as most weizens with good prresence on the palate.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2012 Rerate, 500 ml bottle, batch #444, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Hazy golden colour, huge white head. Pleasant strong and typical hefeweizen aroma of cloves and ripe bananas. The flavour has also distinct notes of cloves and more moderate notes of banana, not too sweet. Like with most h.w.s there is not much bitterness. This is the best Norwegian-brewed hefeweizen widely available (not that there are very many ...). Original rating: Bottle conditioned, RBESG 2005, Grand Tasting (courtesy of the brewery). Murky / cloudy pale brown colour. Lots of sediment in the bottle. Typical hefe aroma, cloves and ripe bananas. Yeasty flavour with cloves, a bit more hops than in many other hefes.

A big head of coarse lace atop dark yellow hazy body with bubble streamers. Sweet aroma of wheat malts and banana. Big, round taste of strong banana or chewing gum, with faintly bitter/dry finish. Some faint, refreshing sourness. Very nice and refreshing, with enough taste to make it interesting. Not the top weizen, but good.

Hazy yellow to orange honey like coloured beer with a thick white slight off white head. Great aroma of wheat, cereals, apricot, sweet apple, honey, ripe bananas and fresh almonds. The beer has a clean and refreshing caracter, it is medium boddied and easy drinking. The taste has a nice roundness about it, it is slight yeasty, quite dry and it ends with a fine dosis of refreshing and crispy hops. really enjoyed this beer. Thanks Jeppe for bringing this one

Draft @ BBF. Aroma is yeast, citrus, spices and faint banana. Flavour is quite bitter with a hint of citrus and spice. Simple but very refreshing. Would love this on a hot summer day.

Some what hazy, orange color beer with long lasting head and quite a bit of bubbles hissing just after opening the bottle. Smell is floral with a remains of yeast. Taste goes same way, and yeastiness is stronger which makes this a bit sour. Good beer, and works quite well after Indian food I just ate.
